Generation of 1 PPS output signal from P2020 RDB-PCA

Working on P2020 RDB-PCA and want to generate 1 PPS Signal - using 1588 dedicated Registers. When setting the registers with specific values at UBOOT, the PPS signal of required pulse width is generated. However when setting the same using C-Code, the output Pulse is not observed to be of the same pulse width. How can the same be achieved using C-Code application.

Generic C language procedures can be used for accessing the dedicated timer control registers. Specific suggestions for setting up PPS pulses are provided in the chip Reference Manual, Section 14.54.16
