Zigbee Public Application Profile

Zigbee Public Application Profile. We are planning to develop a control which a zigbee interface using nxp modules and we want to connect it other HA devices. What do we need to do? Do we need to set initially say the Profile ID to HA Profile before we could connect? and other things to do?
