Hello,

i use the MC9S12ZVCA192. The CAN setting i have done with the Processor Expert Tool.

The CAN works with 250kb and all funktion are OK.

But! When i send a CAN-Massage and the module get an answer in short tme i get an Error Frame on the CAN-Bus.

See the screens

At first i think i have a problem with the power but i see nothing on the socpe.

Can some one help me?

Hi iggi,

no, it must be the new one! The other works together since yaers. I will rebuild one of the with the ZVC. I build the config of the CAN self and now it works.

My problem is to set the same values with the expert. I need vor BTR= 0xC3 and Expert set it to 0x41 and BTR1 i need 0x67 and expert set 0xB7. When i overwrite the values in the Code by a new build prosserexpert overwrite it.

I find not the rigth way

Hi Thorsten,

Well, form your description it looks like PE bug rather than any other problem with CAN communication.

Hi,

More info about Error Frames and error handling you can find in CAN 2.0A/B specification:

Bosch Controller Area Network (CAN) Version 2.0 Protocol Standard (REV 3)

See chapter 3.2.3 and 4.

Who does the CAN module talk to? It may be that the other side returns bad data.

Regards,

iggi
