We facing some problem on the field with NXP (FREESCALE) P/N
MC56F8165VFGE (already 9 units), that after time awhile of working units lost
communication.
During analyze we read flash memory and found, that is empty
(FFFF).
In production we also facing such problem, but it was very rare,
especially during HOT monitoring unit lost communication, but after program
reloaded unit start to work properly.
Do you have any information about
this problem?
Please answer – ASAP!

Hi, Ishai,

I have heard the information that the DSC flash bit changed unexpectedly in extreme environment sporadically, but I do not know the reason and mechanism.  If it is possible, you can contact local FAE so that we can do failure analysis.
