Is a Linux driver for the PN532 available?
Hello Floyd Lau:
The PN532 is supported by open source tools Linux NFC and libnfc, which are not developed and not supported by NXP. You can find more information and examples about these tools on some communities in the web.
You may consider to use the PN7120, which is a complete NFC Controller solution which is supported by the libnfc-nci Linux stack. Please take a look at the AN11697 application note (PN7120 Linux Software Stack Integration Guidelines):
And the next document in this community may also be interesting for you:
NFC PN7120 on the i.MX6Q
I hope this helps.
Are there any plans to create an App Note similar to AN11697 for PN53*? I have a design with PN532 & i.MX6, and am having a tough time getting the two to communicate.
