Hello,

We use armcc inside DS-5, where it runs ok through the IDE.

But can the armcc compiler that comes with the tower starter kit be used outside of DS-5?

On terminal or through makefiles.

I get this license error if I try to run it from terminal:

Error: C9555E: License checkout for feature compiler5 with version 5.0201503 has been denied by Flex back-end. Error code: -5

No such feature exists.

Feature:       compiler5

License path:  /home/user/lic.lic:/home/user/.ds-5/licenses/DS-5 Vybrid Tower Starter Kit.lic:/opt/arm/licenses/license.dat:

FlexNet Licensing error:-5,357

For further information, refer to the FlexNet Licensing documentation,

available at "www.flexerasoftware.com".

Product: DS-5 Professional 5.22.0 [5220021]

Hello,

It is required to run the armcc under corresponding (DS-5) environment,

therefore the simplest way for it is using DS-5 Command Prompt command-line console.

It makes sense to apply to ARM support directly for more details about armcc using.

Have a great day,
Yuri
