Hi

I want some information on my SABRE board (MCIMX6Q-SDB) I bought several weeks ago.

Although it has i.MX6 Quad, when I boot it, I found it's operating as dual core.

(Invoking "cat /proc/cpuinfo" showed that the CPU is operating in dual core mode (see the result below).

root@imx6qsabresd:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor       : 0
model name      : ARMv7 Processor rev 10 (v7l)
Features        : swp half thumb fastmult vfp edsp neon vfpv3 tls vfpd32
CPU implementer : 0x41
CPU architecture: 7
CPU variant     : 0x2
CPU part        : 0xc09
CPU revision    : 10

processor       : 1

Hardware        : Freescale i.MX6 Quad/DualLite (Device Tree)
Revision        : 0000
Serial          : 0000000000000000

Added to that, the CPU has an engraving "DUAL_H" as shown below.)

So, I suspect 2 of the 4 cores are "killed" due to some reason.

And my question is: is this within specification of SABRE board or can I have this replaced with "true" quad version of the board?

Thank you in advance.
