Hello,
Im working with a Freescale board TRK-KEA 128, Kinetis EA MCU PKEAZ128MLK.
And when I tried to select the device into "Devices" window there is not the MCU that I have "PKEAZ128MLK" only is a similar device "SKEAZ128", could I use that MCU instead of "PKEA.." ?
If not, what do I need to do to add a new device like PKEAZ128MLK on the Codewarrior IDE?
- CodeWarrior for MCU
Version: 10.6.4
Thanks!
Regards!
Hello omar,
Yes, when you use the board of TRK-KEA128, please select the chip of "SKEAZ128" .
About the meaning of "P" and "S" , you can check it from the "
KEA128 Sub-Family Data Sheet "
In fact , there is no different between them about the application.
Hope it helps
Have a great day,
Alice Yang

Hello Alice,
Thanks for your help, so, we could say that the main "part number" of any MCU (talking about Codewarrior) is for example: SKEAZ128, other letters and numbers do not matter, right?
Regards!
Hello omar,
- No, other latters also need care, for example the "MLK " indicate the 80 pin,
for the meaning of the part number you can refer to the "S9KEA128P80M48SF0.pdf"
- While all of the SKEAZ128 chip select the ""SKEAZ128".
After you create the PE project on CW, you can change the chip at here :
on the board of TRK-KEA128, the chip is :
