I am trying to make binaries for some old code targeting an HC05.
The version of Freescale CodeWarrior that we are using (5.9.0.5292) does not appear to have an HC05 linker.
I can get the code to compile fine, but I cannot link.
Does anyone know what options are available to me here?
I would like to continue using CodeWarrior.
We have used this product to make binaries for our HC08 chips just fine.
Hi Timothy,
The HC05 is not supported by CodeWarrior for a long time.
The HC05, HC11, and HC16 have been approved for end of life the September 8, 2006.
I think the last version included HC05 was CW8/16V1.0 or CW MOT V1.0.
The versions of IDE used were 4.1.0629 or 4.2.0708.
These versions were released in 2000-2001.
Since September 2006 we don't have anymore CodeWarrior development tool supporting the HC05 devices.
I recommend you to check with Third Party:
Cosmic Software - HC05 Products

Have a great day,
Pascal
