Hello all:

I tried the following steps to verify isl29023 driver function.

1. Try “getevent -i /dev/input/event1”, the result

2. Try “getevent /dev/input/event1”

   No event triggers.

3. Try cat /sys/class/i2c-dev/i2c-2/device/2-0044/lux

The lux changes with flashlight.

4. AndroSensor APK shows “Waiting for event” status on Light Sensor Test.

The device tree structure for isl29023

in imx6qdl-sabresd.dtsi

        isl29023@44 {

                compatible = "fsl,isl29023";

                reg = <0x44>;

                rext = <499>;

                vdd-supply = <&reg_sensor>;

                interrupt-parent = <&gpio3>;

                interrupts = <9 2>;

        };

How do I trigger ABS event for isl29023 to android system?

Modifys isl29023 linux driver or HAL ?
