Hi community,

I have a question about i.MX6 eCSPI.

I understand that CHANEL_SELECT field in ECSPIxCONREG register is set when i.MX6 is master mode and communicates with a external slave device.

Then, I want to confirm whether CHANNEL_SELECT field is also set in i.MX6DQ is eCSPI slave mode or not.

Would you let me know it?

Best Regards,

Satoshi Shimoda

Hello,

According to section 21.4.2 (Slave Mode) of the i.MX6 D/Q RM :

"In this configuration, Chip Select (SS) becomes an input signal, and is used to control

data transfers through the Shift register, as well as to load/store the data FIFO."

Have a great day,
Yuri

Dear Yuri,

Did you mean "we can confirm whether SS is input to i.MX6 or not by reading CHANNEL_MODE field"?

Or in slave mode, SS status is not affected to CHANNEL_MODE?
