FRDM-K64F as programmer

Dear community!

I'am a university student and I'd like to use my FRDM-K64F board to program my board which was specially designed for my Msc Thesis work.

Currently I am using Kinetis Design Studio to program my FRDM-K64F board, with the OpenSDA bootloader and a special Debug configuration in KDS. I have developed the main core of the firmware on this demo board (FRDM-K64F), and I'd like to use the board to program my target board, which uses generally the same microcontroller.

The micro that I have designed onto my own board is a higher pin count variant of that one which soldered onto the Freedom board. The type number of my selection is MK64FN1M0VLQ12 and that one which is mounted on my Freedom board is MK64FN1M0VLL12. The only difference is the gpio count, other parameters are the same.

My question is that if I will be able to program the choosen micro through SWD? For some reasons my FRDM board cannot operate in MSD mode since, so I can only use it from programming through Debug.

I have attached a picture about the screen of KDS at Debug Configurations -> Debugger tab.

I appreciate every help!

Thank you in advance!
