Ethernet ping in custom made kernel Image in t4240rdb

hi

i have built a custom made linux image using sdk 1.7 and i have loaded it using the tftp

but after loading iam unable to ping my ethernet connected to eth0 and there is no transfer happening

i need to transfer files from my host pc to powerpc t4240rdb

Based on the boot log, all your FMan-controlled Ethernet interfaces are in proxy mode, which means the kernel initializes them, but

can't use. That is why ifconfig does not see them. Details can be found here:

The eth0 seen by ifconfig most likely belongs to an externally plugged adapter (e1000?).

Suggestions:

1. Make sure you plugged your Ethernet cable into the correct connector.

2. Approach your external hardware vendor/driver maintainer for the card/driver support

3. If your altered any kernel code related to networking subsystem - debug the kernel.
