facing problem in startup

Hi,

facing one issue at startup."I want start my gui screen in rc.local on startup of linux, but It is overridden by default X11 home screen gui".

Please suggest me How I can take care of this issue. Please suggest me I am very new on Linux.

You can simply choose in /etc/inittab the runlevel that does not run X11.
