Hello.
My board based on IMX6-SOLO

I have JLink connection, for debug

at this point "INIT: version 2.88 booting" I have noticed that the processor got an exception, and the system try to reboot  (runlevel=5)

Any idea what is this message mean? or what might cause the exception?

Appreciate any suggestions.

David.

Hello,

Please check carefully Your design regarding the Checklist and bring-up issues.

Please refer to  Chapter 2 (Design Checklist0 and  Chapter 8 (Avoiding Board

Bring-up Problems) of : “Hardware Development Guide for i.MX 6 …”

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/user_guide/IMX6DQ6SDLHDG.pdf

Note, recent design checklist may be found at

https://community.freescale.com/docs/DOC-93819

Next, please check memory, using the stress tool :

i.MX6/7 DDR Stress Test Tool V2.40

If all is OK, You need to apply debugging Linux via JTAG.

Have a great day,
Yuri
