I have installed Kinetis 3.0.0 under Ubuntu 14.04.  When I try to Help > Check for Updates, and select Processor Expert for Kinetis (or anything for that matter), I get an error message saying, "Insufficient acess privileges to apply this update."  Why am I getting this message?

Problem solved - I missed the instruction to run Kinetis as the root user from the command line and was running it from the icon as a non-super user.
