purpose of 'Engineering Use POR' and 'General-Purpose POR'

Please let me know the purpose of 'Engineering Use POR' and  'General-Purpose POR' configuration of P1022 processor

I think description in the Ref Manual is clear enough. Normally 'Engineering Use POR' signals should be left in default state (all 'ones'), 'General-Purpose POR' can be used by the user as additional configuration signals. It means for example that the user can run boot sequence in different ways depending on the General-Purpose POR value fetched at reset.
