Shell on putty doesn't work correctly

nshell library from Kinetis SDK 1.2.0 seems to interpret backspace (erased characters) as space on Putty (Release 0.64). This results in shell throwing an error "Invalid command" even though the command is correct. I found that shell_ptr->CMD_LINE in shell.c is incorrect. Is there an easy way to fix this?

By the way, I also tried changing Ctrl-? to Ctrl-H for Backspace on Putty but it didn't help.
