We have the QorIQ LS1021A-IOT reference design board and we would like to deploy the ramdisk from Flash.
I would like to ask the following questions:
1. Is there some manual regarding Ramdisk Deployment from Flash for LS1021A-IOT board? I was able only to find the detailed instructions for TWR-LS1021A board in the Freescale Linux LS1021A SDK v0.4 manual (see paragraph 188.8.131.52.2, page 74)
2. Where can I find the Memory Map table for LS1021A-IOT board? I would like to find the Start and End Physical Addresses of the NOR Flash memory. The table 5-3 (see page 65 in "QorIQ LS1021A-IOT Gateway Reference Design Board Reference Manual, Rev. 0" document) contains some misprints. Following "IoT Gateway Reference Design" document the LS1021A- IOT board includes 1 Gb QSPI NOR Flash.
3. How can I use the QSPI memory of the LS1021A-IOT board in order to download there Kernel, Ramdisk and Device Tree File?
I turned ON the switch 1 in order to use U-Boot from QSPI (as it is described in the "QorIQ LS1021A-IOT Gateway Reference Design Getting Started Guide, Rev 2, 02/2015" document). Please see boot log, which I received, enclosed.
