Hi all,

I am testing MPL3115A2 sensor to measure altitude. I can able to read the altitude value. I have monitored the altitude over 24 hours in a same place, height varies from 0 to 50 meter. How to calibrate the accuracy . Altitude keep on varying . I have attached log for reference.

您好 请问这个问题最后是如何处理的呢? 我现在遇到一个跟您一样的问题

我也是用MPL3115A2芯片直接从芯片内寄存器中读取海拔值,在一天当中同一地点的不同时间芯片出的海拔不同

The MPL3115 is a pressure sensor which converts pressure to altitude using a standard atmospheric model. With a "back of the envelope" calculation, 1 atmosphere is about 10,000m so a 50m change is just 0.5% change. You're probably just seeing atmospheric pressure changes.

Hi Mark Pedley,

Thank you for your response.

If 50 meters change is due to atmospheric changes then how do we bring accuracy in altitude calculation.
