PE multilink Universal short TVCC to GND in port C BDM, need some help please!

My circuit is getting too hot when I connect the PE multilink programmer (Rev B). I noticed that there is  short in TVCC and GND (pin 6 and 2) in port C BDM in the programmer (is it normal?),  despite mi PC is recognizing the PE multilink and I could update the firmware, I think there is a diode or fusible in the programmer that is not working but I do not know where to find it.

Blue Led OK

Yellow not working

My circuit conection is the next. I checked the voltage levels and it seems ok!

Hi Andres

No, it is not normal that you have a short between the Vcc and GND

Please check without the multilink if you the short is still on your board.

If this is the case please check that you don't have a solder short on your board.

You can removed the SH device and check if the short is still on the board or if the circuit (MCU) has the short

Thank you for your answer, I had to buy an other programmer and I could program my board succesfully so It seems that the problem is the old Multilink programmer and I would like to fix it, the short between TVCC and GND in the new programmer is not presented. Any Clue?
