Hello!

I am using MPXH6400A pressure sensor for measuring pressure inside a closed chamber. Clean air is being passed through the chamber. The reading were taken after allowing system to stabilize for 5 minutes. Day 1 reading for output voltage was 1.22 V (corresponding pressure value = 102.2865 KPa), and day 2 reading for output voltage was 1.18 V (corresponding pressure value = 99.0469 KPa), although all the system parameters were maintained.

Kindly explain the reason for the difference.

Hello,

A possible reason for this difference might be the temperature.

Please be aware that the maximum error over 0 °C to 85 °C is 1.5% in the MPXx6400A device.

Are you exposing your application to temperature changes?

In order to get more information about the temperature error, please refer to the figure bellow:

I hope this information will be useful for you.

If I misunderstood your question, feel free to let me know.  I will be glad to help.

Have a great day.

David Diaz.
