when the boot args is bootargs=console=ttymxc0,115200 video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1024x768M@60,if=RGB24, I can't see any penguin display on the screen with the hdmi interface. But it can display when I execute QT demo.

when the boot args is bootargs=console=ttymxc0,115200 video=mxcfb0:dev=ldb,LDB-XGA,if=RGB666, I can see 4 penguins display on the screen with the lvds interface.

The only difference is that I use i2c3 for hdmi but not the i2c2 for hdmi. Would it affect?

Hi,

Splash screen on HDMI display is dependent of the used U-Boot version. On the following threads you could find useful related information:

ltib's u-boot (2009.08) enable hdmi?

iMX6 - BSP 4.1.0 - kernel hdmi splash screen

Hope this will be useful for you.
Best regards!
/Carlos
