i.MX6UL development Kit

iWave systems launched the world's first i.MX6 UltraLite CPU based  development kit which is latest addition to its growing family of i.MX based road map.


The i.MX6UL development kit includes Imx6ul CPU based SOM, carrier board and the 4.3” resistive touch display kit. This development kit supports two USB ports, Micro SD, RGB display, camera port, audio In/Out, two CAN ports, UARTs, PWM interface, I2C, GPIOs and debug console etc. The development kit is an ideal platform to get started with the iMX6UL device for bringing the product quick time to market.

The i.MX6UL CPU module (http://www.iwavesystems.com/imx6ul-sodimm-module.html) includes power efficient high performance ARM Cortex A7 based Freescale’s i.mx6 ultra lite CPU core operating up to 528MHz speed. It is ultra-compact in size measuring just 67.6 x 29mm, and is ideally suitable for very low power cost sensitive embedded applications. The Imx6ul module is equipped with 256MB of DDR3 RAM, which is expandable up to 1GB. 256MB of NAND flash is supported on the SOM which is also expandable. This SOM is integrated with on-board PF3001 PMIC and dual Ethernet PHY. All the IO peripheral interfaces supported by imx6 ultra lite CPU is available through 200 pin SODIMM edge connector.


i.MX6UL processor is the latest addition in the growing i.mx family processor which is ultra-power efficient intended for various applications including but not limited to Industrial HMI, Access Control, Mobile POS, IOT Gateway, Wearable devices, secure e-commerce, Energy management, Industrial Control & Automation, Medical & Healthcare devices, White goods & Smart appliances.
