How to update the firmware in USB-KW24D512 & TWR-KW24D512 boards
The firmware for the USB-KW24D512 dongle can be updated following the steps in the guide on the link below.
USB-KW24D512 MSD Bootloader
About the TWR-KW24D512, it can be updated by the same way as any other tower board. You need to press the reset button (be sure that the switch SW5 is in the position shown in the image below) and then connect the USB cable to the board (header J15).
This will run the tower board in the bootloader mode and you just need to copy the new bootloader application in the MSD.
The bootloader application can be downloaded from P&E Microcomputer Systems.
First un-zip the downloaded file and copy the file DEBUG-TWR-K24F120M_Pemicro_v108b_for_OpenSDA_v2.1.bin in the BOOTLOADER device. Un-plug and plug your board again, the firmware is updated.

i am unable to find the 10-pin mini connector.
CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS.
Unfortunately, Codewarrior TAP does not support Kinetis so it won't work. You need an interface that supports Kinetis (ARM) like J-Link, Multilink, IAR I-jet, Keil Ulink, etc.
You can buy a J-Link in the Segger site:
