When I download the "Kinetis SDK 1.2.0 Mainline - Linux.gz" file--(sha1 value of 953b103c28fb722631dfbe6593c074a9ed3518b1) from the community webpage, it is indeed gzipped. However, it is also a tar file which is not indicated by a simple .gz extension. Is there some reason the file was not given the .tgz extension?
Hello Michael,
thank you for your feedback again.
You are right. The extension is not correct. It should indicate it is a tar & gzip archive.
It is fixed for next version.
Please, does it bring you any problem - related to this incorrect extension?
The .tar.gz format should be recognized regardless the extension.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Iva
