Dear All,

Hello. I have a question about HDMI resolution in i.MX6DQ.

Is it possible to support HDMI resolution with 1200(H) x 1920(V) in i.MX6DQ?  [*Not 1200(V) x 1920(H)]

Refer to "Table 33-3. Video Modes" in IMX6DQRM (Rev.3).

I couldn't find the resolution of 1200(H) x 1920(V) in HDMI supporting list.

Best Regards,

Keita

Hi Keita,

The HDMI 1.4a support 4K x 2K video formats.

The HDMI 1.4 specification adds support for extremely high video resolutions that go far beyond today’s 1080p systems.

4K is shorthand for 4,000 lines wide by 2,000 lines high, or roughly four times the resolution of a 1080p display.

The term actually covers two formats, both supported in the HDMI 1.4 specification:

3840 pixels wide by 2160 pixels high
4096 pixels wide by 2160 pixels high

So if you are use HDMI 1.4a, the 1200(H) x 1920(V) can be supported.

Hope this can help you.

Have a nice day.

Best Regards

Dan
