Using JTAG interface with MCF52258

Has anyone used the JTAG interface to program the MCF52258?  I have set the JTAG_EN pin high and was trying to use the P&E Micro Cyclone MAX programmer.  I have secured the Micro but now the BDM interface is completely disabled and I can no longer reprogram the micro.

Thanks,

Joe.

Hi, Joe

Please be note that ColdFire parts such as MCF52258 does not support JTAG programming. Only BDM used as programming. For your case, please use the attached application to unsecure the parts.

http://www.pemicro.com/support/download_processor.cfm?family=7

this application allows a ColdFire Device to be unsecured via P&E's Rev C USB-ML-CF or USB-ML-CFE hardware

The unsecure operation will erase the code in internal Flash.
