Hi,
I'm trying to get the software examples on the FRDM-K22F-Board to run.
I downloaded the Quick-Start-Package from FRDM-K22F|Freedom Development Board|Kinetis|Freescale und try to compile the Uvision Project. Unfortunately, the files referenced in the folders board and utilities are missing. Is there an extra package I have to download or am I missing something else?
Regards
GH

Hello Gregor:
The example project was intended to actually be "inserted" to a KSDK installation, so yes, it depends on other files from the KSDK tree. Unfortunately it was made for an old version of KSDK (I think it was v1.0.0) which is not available anymore.
Best thing as advised by colleague Iva is to download the latest KSDK v1.2 and see the example projects. We will recommend to remove the example project from FRDM-K22F Quick Start Package.

Hello GREGOR HOEHNE,
yes - you are absolutely right, there is wrong path settings in projects.
To avoid it - please, try to set up correct ways in Options for Target -> C/C++ - Include Paths.
I also try it on my side and tell you the result.
However, you can also try Software Development Kit for Kinetis MCUs|Freescale there are a lot of examples for FRDM-K22F (flash_demo, i2c, hello_world, adc, dac, gpio....)
Best Regards,
Iva
Hello Iva,
thank you for your response,
as I see it, the files referenced in the folders are just not included in the zip-file and the other files depend on these.
I will have a look at the software development kit.
Regards,
Gregor

Hello Jorge,
yes, the KSDK is what I'm looking for and it makes the software in the Quick Start Package just obsolete.
Thanks,
Gregor
Hello Gregor,
there are missing files, thank you for your warning - I will pass it to SW team.
In cases of Software Development Kit, please do not hesitate to contact us at Kinetis Software Development Kit

Hi Gregor
Don't miss checking out the uTasker project for the K22: µTasker Kinetis FRDM-K22F support
This includes many features not available in the standard packages, including flexible bootloaders, and real-time processor and board simulation. With out-of-the-box operation for almost all IDEs it is also supported in German language.
It is an industrially proven project framework that allows users to reduce learning curves and greatly accelerate project developments.
Completely free for non-commercial work, but fully supported here or at its own forum.

Mark
