Issues about Porting Android 5.0 on mx6q_sabresd

Hi,all

     we have downloaded the docs about the android 5.0 IMX6_L500_100_ANDROID_DOCS

and refer to the android_user_guide.pdf, we have downloaded the codebase, and have built the codebase ,But we found there were huge differences in the path "\bootable\bootloader\uboot-imx\board\freescale\" between android 4.2 and android 5.0.

So could we have something wrong?Why? And in our android 5.0 codebase, the sub-catalogue is following :

I cannot find the right machine virsion.

but in the 4.2 codebase the sub-catalogue is following:

Please help ~

     And Could give us the right steps in detail,3Q~

Hi tony

old android was based on Linux kernel L3.0.35_4.1.0 while

new uses kernels with device tree. Uboot also is quite different

for these kernels. As starting point one can look at attached Porting

Guides for both kernel versions. For Uboot structure one can look at

WebHome < U-Boot < DENX
