I have a 16-pin IC marking "MSH8 CTG" and freescale logo on it, but I can't find any documents about it at freescale website. I need datasheet of this chip, but there is nothing about it at the web. Is this a special order IC? I think it is a 8-bit microcontroller. Please help me.

Hello,

The marking mentioned makes reference to the MC9S08SH8CTG device.

The S08SH family is a series of S08 8-bit microcontrollers that offer a new low-end option for applications in the 5-volt range.

Please find more information and all the material requested at:

8-bit General Purpose SH MCUs|Freescale

Hope this information will be useful for you.

Have a great day :smileyhappy:

David Diaz.
