Dear All,

I'd like to know the preview performance in i.MX6DQ.

In the case of input 1080p@60fps video data from MIPI-CSI2, is it possible to use the preview function?

<Q1>

[Data] : 1920(W) * 1080(H) * 60(fps) * 1.35(Blanking) * 24(bit) = 3,844 Mbit/s = 480 MByte/s

[MIPI-CSI2] : 800Mbps/lane for four data lanes configuration = 400 MBytes/s

--> [Data] > [MIPI-CSI2]

From the above results, I consider i.MX6DQ (MIPI-CSI2 I/F) cannot support 1080p@60fps.

Is my understanding correct?

<Q2>

[Data] : 1920(W) * 1080(H) * 60(fps) * 1.35(Blanking) * 16(bit) = 2,563 Mbit/s = 320 MByte/s

-->  [Data] < [MIPI-CSI2]

In this case, is it possible to use the preview function?

I worried about CPU load, data transfer internal IPU, and CSI performance(CSI2IPU gasket: MIPI to CSI),etc.

Please give me advice.

Best Regards,
Keita
