Corrupt display when running vivante fb tutorials

Build system: Yocto Poky ( https://github.com/Freescale/meta-fsl-arm)

Linux kernel: 3.10.17_r0

vivante binaries: gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-3.10.17-1.0.2-hfp

Display: 12" (1280x800) LVDS

Board: Custom (based on imx solo)

Vertical white lines interlaced with black and white image is been displayed on the LVDS Screen while running the sample tutorials. The snap of the LCD is attached for the reference. Terminating the tutorial gives the right resolution and the color.

Frame buffer is functioning normally.

Any help/hint which can help us resolve this issue would be appreciated.

This problem was resolved by passing the correct boot arguments (bpp was corrected)
