Hi, I am using USBDM on Ubuntu 14.4. When I plug it in and open HCS08_FlashProgrammer. It detect my programer and prints right firmware version. But any other action (e.g. "Detect" button) results in "Device no responding or busy" and random firmware version. Any idea what can be wrong? The same USBDM works on windows. I am using last software from sourceforge (tried both 32/64-bit versions)

Hi Martin,

Would you mind re-testing on the current version V4.11.1.40?

Thank you

I have just tried it with different versions of libusb on different computer and it is the same (1.0.8, 1.0.11, 1.0.19). Also I have tried different USBDM hardware.

I am using usbdm_4.10.6.240-1-amd64.deb. Non of it makes any difference.

Any chance of releasing 4.11 for linux, to give it a try?

Hi Martin,

I'm currently working on the Linux version so a good time for testing

Can you tell me the BDM hardware types you have tested?

I am not exactly sure, but I believe I have USBDM_JS16CWJ and USBDM_SWD_JS16CWJ

The second one is for sure. I am trying to flash HCS08 and Kinetis devices. I have flashed to both dongles current firmware (that one that comes with the software).

I did it on windows, as it wasn't possible to do in on linux because of the problem I am having
