Hi,

We are developing an application based microcontroller/ processor for the speed control sensorless BLDC (Brush Less Direct Current) motor. We have gone through couple of technical manuals/literature for the same and came to know that BackEMF could be one of the possible solutions. Zero Crossing of BackEMF can be used as an input to control the speed of the motor and to commute the stator. But also came to know that zero crossing of BackEMF will be most suitable for Y connected BLDC. But, in our case the BLDC is with Delta windings. In Delta windings BLDC, what could be the possible method to control the speed. What are all possible Freescale processors those can be looked into for such kind of applications.

If any technical literature or manuals are available, please give me the link to access.
