Hi,

We made custom board with I.MX6Q processor and 4 DDR chips. Each DDR chip having the capacity of 256MX16. DDR3L part number is MT41K256M16HA-125:E.

For Board bring up we are trying to load the configuration seeting of DDR3.

To avoid the complexity during board bring up, shall we test for 32 bits even the processor is connected to 64 bits.

With 32 bits shall we try the configuration settings.

Kindly conform

Hi Muralu

for I.MX6Q processor and 64bit memory configuration recommended

to test it with 64bit configs. Also Freescale BSPs, link below,

are configured and work well with 64 bit configuration.

i.MX6Q|i.MX 6Quad Processors|Quad Core|Freescale

Best regards

igor

Hi igor,

We made custom board with 4 DDR3 chips with 64 bits.

We are suspecting signal integrity problem. To short shall we test for 32 bits with 2 DDR3 chips.

With 4 DDR chips processor we are not getting any response.

Thanks & Regards

M. Murali Krishna
