Hi,

System detail: MPC8248 evaluation system with "EPPC Linux 2.6 Code Warrior  IDE" (Code Warrior IDE 5.7.0).
I need to take data input from one of the serial ports. When I "dmesg" in the evaluation system it shows three serial ports "ttyS0, ttyS1, and ttyS2" (actually the system has only two serial ports!). when I try to open "/dev/ttyS0" (or 1 or 2), it says "No such file or directory".  However I can open and write "/dev/tts/0" , "/dev/tts/1", and "/dev/tts/2", but when I try to read the serial port connected to loopback connector, I get "EAGAIN ERROR". I would appreciate any help on this.

Thanks!
