Whic is the Best PMIC for I.MX257?

Hi all,

Anybody can tell which is the best PMIC for imx257 processor?. Somebody suggested me  MC34704 PMIC for imx257. But when i went through the datasheet i found its having 3 buck boost, 1 buck, 1 inverter and 2 boost converter. but imx257 requires only 1.45V, 1.5V, 1.8V and 3.3V. simple buck regulators and LDO's are enough for this purpose. So i don't think MC34704 is the Best PMIC for Imx257 which is having some unwanted buck boost, inverter and boost. So anybody can suggest a good PMIC for imx257 from freescale as well as from other vendors?

Hi ANEESH

seems one can find other pmics, for example TPS65051

however note that linux controls pmic (refer  to attached document Chapter 5,6,7)

so one will have to develop own driver for new pmic.
