Hi,

I need to know a small information about the MC9S12DJ64 controller.

What is the endurance/life cycle of the EEPROM in the IC? For how many cycles the EEPROM can be used, is it 10,000 or more than that.

Please clarify the same.

regards,

Balaji.

Hi all,

Can I get the complete datasheet, with all reference documents in the same datasheet for MC9S12DJ64. If it is available please do attach the link for me....

Sorry, but the HCS12 documentation is not all in one document.

Hopefully Freescale will never do thing this way again, but for now that is how it is down.

Here is a link to all the data sheets.
This is a zip file with them all.

Thanks Jim for the zip file.

Can you please tell me how many erase/write cycles be performed on the EEPROM in MC9S12DJ64.

with regards,

Balaji.

Well Freescale eeprom is normally rated at 300K Typical, given a normal temperature range.

Hi Jim,

The EEPROM which you have mentioned above, is that a seperate EEPROM IC you are telling about, or the EEPROM in the controller.

I want to clarify this because when I go for a seperate IC for EEPROM, then I will get the typical 300k. But what about the EEPROM that is inbuilt in the controller.

Do I get the same 300k. I think it will be definitely less than 300k, say around 10k to 100k.

Please clarify me on this.

with regards,

Balaji.

Now, how would I know about any external EEPROM you might be thinking of using.

I am referring to the internal EEPROM.
The Flash is good to 100K.
