Problem with CGMXFC, PTB0 & PTB1 pins in HC98LJ12

Dear all,

Please help me in sorting the problem, I am facing using LJ12.

I am not getting any output, i.e., the voltage at the 3 pins, CGMXFC, PTB0 & PTB1 is 0V. But the normal output voltage at the pins are, for CGMXFC - 1.7V, for PTB0 & PTB1 is 5V.

Can anyone suggest what could be the reason for the problem. Because of this problem, the controller hangs and doesnot respond to any signal.

With regards,

GNS

Hello,
I have read your message, but I am afraid I cannot help you without more information.
I would like to know the following:

1) Do you have a development system where you can program and run the HC908LJ12?
And do have it attached when the problems appear?

2) Have you tried to write a simple program that sets up an I/O port and wiggle with a pin?

3) Does this problem appear after you have developed a product, burned an HC908LJ12, and tried to run it on its own?

4) That the output voltage on two I/Os seem to quite low could indicate some trouble with the Vdd.
What voltage have you got there?

Well, I can't promise that I can help you. But at least I could try.

Regards,
Ake
