iMX280 : i.MX28 EVK Board JTAG interface circuit

Dear community,

I am checking the i.MX28 EVK Board schematic (IMX28_evk_revD) .
It seems that the JTAG interface circuit is very complex.

If I execute the only simple Debugging ,  can the JTAG POD connect to i.MX jtag pin directly ?

Hi koichi

yes, it can be connected directly.

FETs prevent backdrive from the JTAG interface.  Without these,

customers often complain that they either don’t see good power

numbers at low power states or they have difficulty getting repeatable power measurements.
