Imx6 pcie ep DMA issue

Hi,

I have imx6q7 board connected to a intel 6235 chipset behind pcie switch. The driver intel 6235 chip is not able to DMA the firmware to the device. Is there any special flag or setting that we need to enable to let the device DMA data from memory??

had you tried to connect intel 6235 chip without pcie switch, directly to i.MX6.

Also is it working correctly on PC ?

Hi,

No we have not tried to connect it without the pcie switch. It is not possible for us to check that as the board is now fabricated that way. The module is working fine in the pc. Is there any amount RAM we have to allocate before kernel kicks in so that DMA operation is successful????
