Dear all,

We have planned the Signage product for the amusements using i.MX6.

It has 3LCD panel.

It handles the unusual size image.

I want to know whether this can be implemented only by i.MX6.

pastedImage_0.png

For example, (1)HDMI, (2)LVDS, and (3)LVDS are available as a LCD interface.

Because it is Signage equipment, needed functions are pictures display and movie playback.

In others:

  • display these two in layers.
  • scan frequency is 15-30fps.

Is implementation possible?

When using BSP as the base, is many change needed for S/W?

Best Regards,

George

Dear Igor,

Thank you for the quick action.

The low cost possible product is desirable.

However, implementation of a function is the most important.

George

Hi George

I think this is feasible only with i.MX6QD, since it

has 2xIPU. In my opinion sw changes may be significant,

also attached i.MX6QD porting guide.

Dear Igor,

I was glad that your opinion could be heard.

I think S/W change a few more after this.

Please let me know one.

Can multiple monitors be handled as one monitor virtually in such environment?

George
