Hi community,

Our partner have a question about i.MX6DQ eFuse.

We want to know whant eFuse is burned by freescale, and what eFuse should be burned by user.

Especially, we want to know about the eFuse values correspond to the following OCOTP registers.

OCOTP_ANA1

OCOTP_MAC0

OCOTP_MAC1

OCOTP_GP1

OCOTP_GP2

Best Regards,

Satoshi Shimoda

You are correct, I apologize.

Fuses like the MAC address are up to the customer to program.

Other fuses are set at factory and those include OCOTP_ANA1 which has the temperature calibration information, you may find more details on Table 62-1 of the i.MX6DQ Reference Manual (link below).

Hello Satoshi Shimoda,

Freescale’s processors ship with the eFuses intact unless it’s otherwise asked by the customer. The regular parts do not come with any eFuse programming; it is the customer’s responsibility to program these fuses.

I hope this information helps!

Hi gusarambula,

I believe Freescale burns some eFuses when shipping.

For example, device  unique ID (0x410, 0x420), speed grading (0x440), temperature grade (0x480), etc...

I think Freescale should prohibit programming to these eFuses by user.

According to you reply, I guess OCOTP_MACx (0x620) and OCOTP_GPx (0x660, 0x670) are not programmed.

But I did not understand whether OCOTP_ANA1 is programmed and whether what is this because this is not described in Table 5-10 in IMX6DQRM (Rev.2).

So would you confirm what eFuse is programmed again?

Best Regards,

Satoshi Shimoda
