Hello,
I would like to determine wait cycles in EIM in i.MX21.
I'm setting WWS=0, WSC=111110 checking with MC9328MX21RM Rev.3, however it's not clear which is correct clocks, 63 or 62.
In the RM,
Table 20-6. 63 clocks: "WSC=111110 results in 63 clock transfers"
Table 20-7. 62 clocks: "WSC=111110 WWS=0 Read Access 62"
In the 20-7, 63 is Reserved so 62 is the corrcect clocks?
Best regards,
Nori Shinozaki

Hi Nori
correct description is given in Table 20-6 :
"WSC=111110 results in 63 clock transfers",
that is WSC encoded data results in +1 number of wait-states:
WSC = 000001 results in 2 clock transfers
WSC = 001110 results in 15 clock transfers
WSC = 111110 results in 63 clock transfers
MC9328MX21 3.19.1 EIM External Bus Timing Diagrams
gives examples.
