Hi there. Is there any way to find DSP563xxEVME or suitable(proper) replacement for that DSP?

This is Seong Jung from Sungkyunkwan Univ., South Korea.

I am one of Ph.D candidate in physics department, using STM(Scanning Tunneling Microscope).

In broad range of this STM field all over the world, our community have used your DSP.

Specific model name is DSP56309EVM and its manufacturing had been discontinued.

In order to replace DSP56309EVM, we have successfully built our system with

DSP563xxEVME, however, it has also been discontinued.

This DSP is key for our STM community.

So my questions are,

1. Is it possible for your company to make DSP563xxEVME again? since we are willing to order 10 DSPs.

2. Is there updated version of DSP563xxEVME we can find?

3. Is there any proper replacement for DSP563xxEVME?

The DSP563xxEVM kit includes the DSP563xxEVME board and four naked DSP56303, DSP56309, DSP56311 and DSP56321 chips. The DSP563xxEVME has a socket so that you can change the processor easily.

Unfortunately, the DSP56300 family has been end of life, we no longer sell the DSP563xxEVM kit. But I think you can order the DSP56311 or DSP56321 chip and you have to design the PCB board.
