Hello Adi:
To work with KDS and TRK-KEA boards you do not need extra tools, since these boards have P&E OpenSDA interface, so with a USB - Micro USB cable you are ready to go.
Just be aware that there is a known issue with KE/KEA devices. Please give a check to KDS v1.1.1 release notes in the next link:

Under "Chapter 7 Known issues and workarounds" you will find PEXMCU-289. Please implement the workaround mentioned.
