I was trying to create a project using Processor Expert.  I created a new KDS workspace.  When creating the project I selected the 'Stand alone' option.  Why, when I try to build the project is it trying save PE generated code files in the KDS home folder instead of in my project folder in my workspace? (See attached snapshot).

Thanks,

John Baker

It asks you to create (or copy from) the files on the left to the location on the right.

So the source of the file is in c:\freescale\kds_1.1.1/eclipse...... to your project subfolder Generated_Code/....

It should create the files inside your project structure, not in KDS.

Thank Erich,    I guess I was just overly cautious.

When I look at the Properties -> Processor Expert -> Generated code directory:  it points to 'Generated_Code' as it should.  (see attached snapshot)

Thanks,

John
