Hi Wang,

II have confirmed the problem with a MKE04Z8. I will have a look at this and see if I can find the reason.

bye

PS. It appears that it is probing a secured device that is upsetting the chip.

Try the following:

  • Unplug the programmer to power cycle the chip
  • Plug in the programmer.
  • Manually select the correct device
  • Select the unsecured option
  • Select Mass erase
  • Program an image to the device.

The above worked for me.

bye

Hi pgo,

USBDM still can't unsecure MKE04Z128 . do you have other way to resolve the question?

Hi Wang,

I'm sorry but I've been unable to re-produce your problem.

The MKE devices require a slightly different unsecure sequence which does interfere with the device auto-detection.

However, manually selecting the device and programming with mass-erase as described above seems to work fine with the several devices I tried.

Is there anything particular about the program in the chip you are using?

Note: I do not have a MKE04Z128 to check with only MKE02, MKE06  and MKE04 in a different size.

Hi pgo,

A new question comes out. I can debug MKE04z128 in cw10.6,but I can't use ARM programmer to download my app into MKE04Z128. when I try to download it,the picture shows the error.

I don't find the question in other KE02 series.
