Question, i.MX6DQ VDD_SNVS_IN current

Hi team,

According to i.MX6DQ datasheet(IMX6DQCEC Rev.3), the power consumption for VDD_SNVS_IN is;

41uA(Typ) in SRTC backup, and

275uA for maximum current.

From the above, my customer estimates that the life of coin cell battery connected to VDD_SNVS_IN may be about 8 month for their board.

And they want to extend the battery life.

Could you show me whether there is any ways to reduce the VDD_SNVS_IN current?

Thanks,

Miyamoto

Hi AVNET JAPAN FAE (team share account)

unfortunately there are no ways to reduce the VDD_SNVS_IN current.

In general one can try to use chips in low temperature (this reduces current)

and choose samples with lower current, using preliminary test before soldering.

Best regards
